GreenFest 2025
Saturday 5th April 10:30am to 3pm
West Berkshire Green Exchange is thrilled to announce that we will be bringing you GreenFest 2025.
This follows on from the very successful GreenFest 2022, which was held in Hampstead Norreys, and brought together 5,000 people from all over West Berkshire. We are delighted to bring GreenFest to a brand new site: St Bartholomew's School, Newbury, and we are looking forward to inspiring new, and celebrating existing, sustainable initiatives.
GreenFest 2025 will inspire, educate, excite and enthuse, with engaging stalls, hands-on activities, interesting talks and discussions as well as food & drink. Best of all, the event is free* and is for all the family.
*Catered food will need to be paid for, please bring your own drinks and other containers to avoid waste.

Zones
Did you know that an individual’s carbon footprint can be roughly split into 4 groups? Food, Energy, Travel and Stuff (products that we buy). We have built on these groups to create 6 Zones, plus somewhere for you to get hot and cold drinks, and a range of delicious, sustainable snacks and lunches.
Home: Clean and Efficient Home Energy Choices
Learn how can you reduce your energy bills through improved insulation and draught-proofing. Find out more about the importance of good ventilation systems. Ask if your home is likely to be suitable for a heat pump, solar panels or battery storage. |
Food & Drink
A festival wouldn't be a festival without delicious food and drink! So that's what we will have.
Please bring your own containers if you can, to reduce single use.
- coffee and cake,
- local, sustainable meat,
- vegetarian and vegan,
- gluten free, dairy free,
- and everything in between.
Please bring your own containers if you can, to reduce single use.
Where will GreenFest be held?

This year's GreenFest will be held at St Bartholomew's School in Newbury. We are so pleased that they are hosting us, as St Bartholomew's School champions sustainable practices and has some aspirational goals for its future.
The site also has some wild environments that we plan to use on the day.
St Bart's School can be found on Andover Road, Newbury, Berkshire. RG14 6JP.
