Hickson Hedgerows is a small Community Orchard and Green in Great Shefford. We manage a laid hedge, bug hotel (created by almost 100 school children), wildlife areas and spring bulbs. Follow us on FaceBook.
Hungerford Environmental Action Team is a group of local people who care passionately about the environment and want to protect it. Each year HEAT lays out objectives during the AGM in January with the aim of stimulating a reduction in Hungerford's carbon footprint through positive action.The Monthly Action Meeting is held on the last Wednesday of the month, 7-9pm, and we warmly welcome anyone wanting to find out more.
Hungerford Food Community is a community organisation that believes that the choices we make about the food we buy, cook and eat can have a huge affect on our health (mental and physical), our environment and our local economy. We support the reduction of food waste, excess food packaging and eating less, but better, meat chicken, fish and dairy. We run cooking projects with local schools and community groups.
Hungerford Repair Cafe is a free community event where skilled, friendly volunteers work alongside visitors to repair clothes, furniture, electrical items, electronics, garden tools and toys.

Sheepdrove BeeWalk is part of a national recording scheme to monitor bumblebees on transects across the country.
